A Bit About Me
Dr. Zhipeng ZHAO received Bachelor and Doctoral Degrees in Civil Engineering from Tongji University of China in 2017 and 2021, respectively.
From 2021 to 2022, he worked as a Postdoctoral researcher at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University and the City University of Hong Kong. Then, he worked as a JSPS (Japan Society for the Promotion of Science) foreign research fellow at the International Research Institute of Disaster Science of Tohoku University in Japan from 2022 to 2023. Now, he is an assistant professor and distinguished researcher in Tongji University.
His personal research interests include the artificial intelligence-based structural vibration control, development of innovative anti-seismic structural systems and components, data mining of ground motions, and seismic metamaterial.
